More Posts, Book Review Section Update, etc

Blog UpdateHello!

Here’s another blog update for ya! I’ve spent the last few days working on two posts that will be published Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Because I also work, I have come up with a writing/publishing schedule that fits my offline schedule. I want to be able to put more posts out there each week instead of a couple every month or so.

here’s what you need to know

  • Tomorrow, June 29th, I will publish two posts.
  • From that point on, I will publish posts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays of each week. So, expect another post Friday, July 1, 2016 of this week.
  • I will do the bulk of my research and writing on weekends and evenings.
  • Comments will open again tomorrow with the new posts.

Book Review Site Update

I’m excited to announce that I received my first true crime book to read and review! I’ve also been working on that section of this site (it’s really it’s own site, let’s be honest) to get it ready to go live  (see last post about the new section). And that will happen once the book is read and I’ve written the review. I’m going to start the book tonight, so I’m shooting for the review section to be up next week.  If this book is as good as it sounds, I’ll read it in no time. 😀

When I know the actual date the book review section will be up, I will post it on here and Twitter.

Other Things

Since the creation of this blog, I’ve only used Twitter for social media. I have always been hesitant about using Facebook because of all the ridiculous trolls on there. And when I say ridiculous, I really mean asshole.

But it’s a way of getting the blog out there. Thankfully, you can ban people from pages, and I’m sure I’ll be doing that a lot. 😉

So I’m also working on setting up the Facebook page and I’m trying to find out if using Instagram is worth it. I searched hashtags on there that would go with my blog, but not a lot of posts overall. So, still debating Instagram, although I love using it personally. We’ll see.

One thing I’ve always done is kept my identity private because of what I write and give my opinions on. I am debating on whether or not I will keep doing so. On one hand, I like the privacy, but on the other hand, I feel like maybe I owe it to my readers to put my face out there more. Most bloggers do. Again, we’ll see.

So there ya go! True Crime Diva is back and here to stay!
