The 1951 unsolved killing of Harry and Harriette Moore

Seventy-one years ago, a bomb exploded at the home of civil rights activists Harry T. and Harriette V. Moore on Christmas night. Moore died at a local hospital an hour later, while his wife succumbed to her injuries nine days following the explosion. The killing was clearly racially motivated, and authorities never arrested anyone for the heinous act.
