Around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 1991, Michael Dunahee was playing on the playground at Blanshard Elementary School in Victoria, British Columbia while his mother, Crystal Dunahee, was getting ready to play ladies touch football at an adjacent field. His father, Bruce Dunahee, was helping Crystal with Caitlin and the equipment. At some point shortly after Michael went to the playground, he vanished without a trace. Not one person saw what happened to the little boy. read more

Richard David Marlow: Missing since 1944 from Toronto

Richard David MarlowOn July 18, 1944, nine-year-old Richard David Marlow vanished without a trace near his Beta Street home in Etobicoke, Toronto, Ontario. He was last seen riding his older sister’s bicycle up and down the street. The bicycle itself was left in the yard.

A few members of Richard’s family were at the movies that evening. Richard had been the night before, so he stayed home with one of his younger brothers. Gertrude, his mother, Richard’s sister, and his other younger brother went to the show. Their father, John was in the military and stationed out of town. Richard’s two older brothers were fighting in Belgium as World War II raged on. read more

Who Killed Christine Jessop in 1984?

On October 3, 1984, nine-year-old Christine Jessop walked off her school bus in Queensville, Ontario, Canada at around 3:50 p.m. She stopped to get the mail before heading into her home. The house was empty. Her dad was at work and her mother was running errands. Between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m, Christine was seen walking to a nearby grocery store to buy bubble gum. This was the last sighting of Christine alive. read more

This is one of those cases where I immediately felt a connection to the victim while searching for information on it. The case is a little strange, too, and you’ll see why once you read it.
