On March 26, 2003, seven-year-old Dalton Mesarchik of Streator, Illinois disappeared from his home while waiting for the church van to pick him up.

According to early reports, Dalton was waiting in his enclosed porch around 6:15 or 6:30 p.m. for the church van to pick him up.(Some later reports say Dalton went to wait outside the home at 6:45 p.m.)

About 7:00 or 7:15 p.m., Dalton poked his head inside to tell his mother, Michelle Mesarchik, he was still waiting. read more
