Rachael Runyan: Still no justice almost 33 years later

On August 26, 1982, three-year-old Rachael Runyan of Sunset, Utah was playing at her elementary school’s playground with her two older brothers when a man approached her offering bubble gum and ice cream. After earning Rachael’s trust, the man grabbed her, threw her into his car, and sped away.

Rachael’s brothers watched in horror as their sister was taken in broad daylight. read more

As I stated at the beginning of the post I did on Reny’s case, the case itself is eerily similar to Brittanee Drexel’s case. They’re not connected, but it’s weird how similar they are.

Like Brittanee, Reny was from New York and disappeared while on spring break. Reny was with a group of friends his family knew little about. These questionable “friends” bailed immediately after Reny went missing. Neither Brittanee or Reny have been found. Weird, right? Yet, not connected, I’m sure. read more

Reny Jose: Missing since March 2014

I just came across this case and it reminds me of Brittanee Drexel’s case in many ways.

renyjoseRice University student, Reny Jose, 21, was on spring break in Panama City, FL in March 2014. He was one of about 20 students who rented a beach house March 1st.  He was last seen at 7pm on March 3rd by his friends and reported missing the following day. read more

Angela Marie Hammond: Disappeared in 1991

Angela’s disappearance is similar to the abduction of Elaine Nix in Georgia in 1999. Like Elaine, 20-year-old Angela Marie Hammond was speaking to her boyfriend, Rob, at a payphone at approximately 11:15 p.m. on April 4, 1991 in Clinton, MO. The payphone she was using was in the parking lot of the Food Barn Store, located at Jefferson and 2nd Street, and just seven blocks from Rob’s house. read more

Elaine Nix: 1999 Murder Case Still a Mystery Over 15 Years Later

Between 12:00 a.m.. and 1:00 a.m. on September 20, 1999, 18-year-old Elaine Nix was chatting with her boyfriend, Billy Millwood, on a payphone outside Zack’s Food Rack on Candler Highway in Gainesville, GA.  The young girl didn’t have long distance service at home, so a couple times a week, she would use this payphone to chat with Billy. read more
